Minbar Initiative is pleased to announce a call for article submissions for MinbarPost, our online publication dedicated to promoting critical discourse on contemporary Islamic issues. We welcome submissions from scholars, academics, and practitioners with diverse perspectives and interdisciplinary backgrounds.
Submission Topics
MinbarPost welcomes articles on a wide range of topics related to Islamic studies, including but not limited to:
Submission Guidelines
Before you Begin
The corresponding author must collect and enter the following information for the article submission:
- Contact data - Correct spelling of first and last name, rank, affiliation, affiliation country
- Article Title - Full article title
- Article Abstract - 250-word abstract
- Article Text - The full text of the article, between 300 and 500 words
- References - List of references in Chicago style
Your article will undergo a double-blind peer review process, and the results will be returned to you generally within four weeks. If your article is accepted for publication, you will receive an email notification containing your publication date and a request to complete our publication agreement.

MinbarPost is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. All articles must be original works and not published elsewhere. Plagiarism and any form of research misconduct will not be tolerated. The opinions expressed in the articles are solely those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Minbar Initiative.
