Minbar Initiative is pleased to welcome you to a one-day workshop that will address the question of nation-building in the midst of state-building process in Somalia.
The workshop offers some historical context on Somali’s journey towards nation-building. It will particularly focus on the notion of nation-building in relation to state building efforts. It gives students, policymakers, practitioners and researchers, a rare insight from the former president on the current challenges and opportunities available to Somalia in its quest for democratic, inclusive and participatory democracy.
